Sinclair Joins Capitol Group Team
The Capitol Group is proud to announce the addition of a third member to the team.
Victoria Sinclair has joined Jefferson Fink and firm founder Jim Obradovich.
Victoria Sinclair is a fifth-generation Iowan with over a decade of experience working with the Iowa Legislature and in Iowa politics.
Victoria attended the University of Northern Iowa and is a distinguished honors graduate with degrees in public administration and political science. While attending UNI, Victoria served as the student government representative for governmental affairs, making weekly visits to the Iowa State Capitol to lobby lawmakers on behalf of the students.
Following graduation, Victoria began her career in government and politics by serving as the District Representative for Iowa’s U.S. House of Representatives member from the state’s Fourth Congressional District. Her duties included serving as the liaison with community leaders in nine Iowa counties and helping constituents navigate the complexities of the federal bureaucracy.
Sinclair then accepted a key policy leadership role with a nonprofit organization focused on limited government and lower taxation. She was instrumental in crafting legislation that was signed into law which reformed property tax policy and improved the state’s open records law.
Victoria lives in Boone, with her husband, Evan, and their three sons. In her moments of free time, she enjoys volunteering as a coach on their children’s sports teams and being involved in her community. She has served for over a decade on the Iowa American Legion Auxiliary Girls State staff, a program dedicated to teaching young women across Iowa about state and local government and encouraging their involvement.
